About the Team: The ZF Garrett team supports packaging and light assembly of braking, electronics, and steering products for automotive service distribution. The Team Lead will help support the Production Supervisor within the packaging and assembly area. A key to success is optimizing the work area performance by supporting team members, maintaining supplies/materials, escalating issues and reporting key performance metrics.
What you can look forward to as a Team Lead:
- Coordinate job assignments and rotation of line assignments
- Assist with set up and changeovers of the line process
- Promote and implement continuous improvement activities
- Assist with collection of data for the work cell
- Assist with on the job training
- Optimize operational performance through enforcing standard work and best practices
Your profile as a Team Lead:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year experience in production environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Time management skills
- Forklift and scan gun experience preferred
- Basic computer skills
