What you need to apply:

• Working toward a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology
• Ability to work around 20 hours per week
• Strong technical experience with hands on troubleshooting capability
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience with 3D modeling software (Creo experience preferred)
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe manner
• Ability to communicate effectively, including the ability to read, write, and speak English clearly
• Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening
• Authorized to work in the United States

Day in the Life:

• Investigate, procure, integrate, and install new equipment to increase production technology and automate processes in various departments
• Design assembly fixtures to decrease assembly time and increase quality and safety
• Study process layout and improve material flow
• Proactively identify and improve issues before problems occur
• Provide daily support to Manufacturing and Maintenance to resolve process issues.
• Performs engineering duties in planning and designing tools, engines, machines, and other mechanically functioning equipment or products.
• Oversees installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of such equipment.
