What you need to apply:
- Working toward a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology
- Ability to work around 20 hours per week
- Strong technical experience with hands on troubleshooting capability
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience with 3D modeling software (Creo experience preferred)
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe manner
- Ability to communicate effectively, including the ability to read, write, and speak English clearly
- Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening
- Authorized to work in the United States
Day in the Life:
- Investigate, procure, integrate, and install new equipment to increase production technology and automate processes in various departments
- Design assembly fixtures to decrease assembly time and increase quality and safety
- Study process layout and improve material flow
- Proactively identify and improve issues before problems occur
- Provide daily support to Manufacturing and Maintenance to resolve process issues.
- Performs engineering duties in planning and designing tools, engines, machines, and other mechanically functioning equipment or products.
- Oversees installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of such equipment.
