Aegis has partnered with a manufacturing facility in southern Indiana that is looking to add an entry-level Production Engineer to its team. We are looking for a detail-oriented, quality-focused professional to fill this role. The ideal candidate for this position is likely a newer graduate with 1-2 years of experience in an environment that exposed them to industrial dies. This person will have to be comfortable working in an office setting (70% Office/30% Production Floor). Apply today, we are actively interviewing for this role.

Major Responsibilities:

• Process Capability and Capacity Planning
• Determine Future Equipment requirements.
• Assist with evaluating potential vendors, equipment makers, and services to meet required specifications.
• Investigate in-house manufacturing problems and recommend countermeasures.
• Research, develop, and test long term improvement ideas.
• Generate reports to clearly explain issues and / or results.
• Ability to read, troubleshoot, modify, and write PLC Ladder Logic.
• Working with Robotics, Vision Systems, and Laser Programming a plus.
• Mechanical Aptitude required.
• Ensure documentation meets IATF16949 and ISO9001.
• Maintain and generate process control plan specifications and process failure mode and effect analysis documentation.
• Maintain good working relationships with team members.
• Project Management – coordinate, schedule, and execute individual and multi-departmental projects plans, including full line implementation and start up.
