Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to plan, coordinate and manage all aspects of television production for various broadcasts throughout the US and Canada to ensure that NEP delivers superior service, builds lasting client relationships, works together as one team, while meeting commitments with integrity and passion.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Manage Production of various games per week
Work directly with crewing service to manage and assign appropriate positions for each event
Work with NEP Travel Department on travel requirements for each game
Assist with final invoice assembly
Coordinate with Internal and Vendor contacts on Mobile unit specifications for each show.
Work with Team and venues contacts to schedule, Park and Power, IT & Telephone lines, Security, and catering
Order and confirm all freelance crewing needs with crew provider(s).
Work with Production in ordering all transmission paths for each game.
Coordinate game-day timelines with both the Teams and Production.
Assist technical managers in creating a game day tech manual and distribute.
Review all submitted post show EIC and technical reports for any issues.
Gather all show expenses for each game
Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Sports or Event Management, Business or related field desired, however a combination of education and experience will be considered.
3+ years’ experience in Event Planning, Logistics and Project Coordination required.
Crewing Experience is a plus
Demonstrated knowledge of broadcast management, technology, equipment, facilities, and live production for major commercial and TV networks desirable.
Demonstrated skills in professional communication and an ability to interact with a wide range of individuals.
Attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Must be willing and able to travel.
