WORKING AT MKG
MKG, with offices in NYC and LA, is actively seeking a resourceful and enthusiastic Account Coordinator to provide crucial support across multiple key lines of business for the agency. This strategic and qualitative role involves developing and executing live event activations, reporting directly to an Account Manager on various client projects. This role will, at times, also support the Production team, and candidates should have an interest in building upon basic production skills and mastering MKG processes.
Candidates are expected to reside within commuting distance of either office and be available for in-person collaboration on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE:
CORE DUTIES:

  • Support the client facing team to produce large scale activations as well as events of small to medium size supporting various clients B2B and B2C marketing efforts.
  • Take day-to-day direction from your Manager, Project Lead, Producer, or Assistant Producer (AP).
  • Act as the right-hand person to the Project Lead, actively seeking guidance and being proactive in anticipating next steps.
  • Collaborate with the Project Lead to identify specific areas of the project to take ownership of.
  • Project management of deliverables, timelines and ensures results; supports multidisciplinary team
  • Work with Project Lead to establish roles and responsibilities (R&Rs) on a project-by-project basis.
  • Manage project deliverables, timelines, and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Support a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the comprehension of agency processes and workflows.
  • Support Project Lead on liaising with in-house Creative, Design, and Operations divisions
  • Contribute actively to creative ideation for brand activations and initiatives.
  • Transcribe and distribute meeting minutes.
  • Create and maintain event program status reports, production schedules, and task lists for active projects
  • Support in coordinating all 3rd party vendors, including virtual platforms, venues, catering, décor, furnishings, graphics, fabrication, installation, dismantle, labor, audio-visual, and content capture.
  • Provide assistance in event measurement, surveying, and reporting.
  • Work with 3rd party invitation software to write, design, and distribute invites for events.
  • Design and deploy communications via registration tools, including save-the-date, invites, reminders to register, event reminders, and thank-you emails

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide administrative support, organizing and maintaining internal and external resources.
  • Prepare meeting materials.
  • Author and circulate thorough notes for all status meetings and project-related meetings.
  • Track expenses and process, manage, and file invoices.
  • Help manage timeline and ensure deliverables are meeting agreed deadlines.
  • Ensure all internal team members' project expenses are requested and accounted for.
  • Craft and send out post-satisfaction surveys to speakers and audiences.
  • Collect valuable insights for future planning and event analytics.
  • Manage calendars for internal and external meeting bookings.
  • Serve as the internal brand custodian, organizing and maintaining internal resources.
  • Effectively communicate brand guidelines, goals, and expectations to resources within and outside the agency.

Requirements
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THIS ROLE:
  • Interest in the event and experiential marketing industry
  • 1+ years of client-facing agency-experience
  • Ability to prepare reports and correspondence
  • Analyze situations and identify problems
  • Ability to meet tight time constraints and deadlines
  • Exercise judgment and creativity in making decisions
  • Communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Interact professionally with various levels of Company employees and outside representatives
  • Experience in Google Suite
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
  • Experience working directly with clients and internal teams to deliver on projects from client brief through to execution
  • Be able to think creatively about a variety of challenges and apply their organizational skills accordingly
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and when projects shifts occur
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues
  • Have the ability to manage up
  • Ability to multi-task across multiple projects/disciplines

Salary Description
$58,000 - $62,000 annually
***This is the minimum + maximum base salary that we, in good faith, are willing to pay at the time of the posting. Salary commensurate with experience.
