Production Control Administrator

AS&E, an OSI Systems Company is seeking a Document Control Specialist, based out of Billerica, MA.

Responsibilities

• Support the production management team.
• Performs clerical tasks in the Production Control function.
• Responsible for chasing overdue works orders and making sure relevant paperwork is passed to stores.
• Prepare a weekly report of older works orders including status, target close date and person responsible.
• Co-ordinate varied tasks generated by a fast-moving production environment.
• Work as a team with all members of staff.
• Achieve personal performance targets as agreed with your line manager.
• To organize workload effectively.
• Must be able to multitask.
• Attend production meetings.
• Review all work orders, checking for accuracy and completeness.
• Complete Non-conforming material (NC) paperwork for discrepant materials.
• Assist in ensuring successful new engineering change orders into manufacturing.
• Record keeping, worksheets, filing, and standard administrative skills.

• Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 2+ years of manufacturing or Production Control experience
• Skilled in the use of ERP and database level systems
• Experience with Microsoft Office (esp. Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Able to adapt in work environments.
• Must be able to read, write, and verbally effectively communicate in the business language (English).
• Ability to follow company policy and understand any rules or regulations governing the job and the impact work has on department and company.
