ResponsibilitiesAbout the role:
The Product Designer II responsibilities include defining product specifications and creating user centered solutions for fully functional products. To be successful in this role, you should be a self-starter and willing to hit the ground running with product teams.
QualificationsWhat makes you a dream candidate?
- Proven experience with Figma for prototyping and design
- Participates in all phases of a product, from discovery to delivery to continued iteration
- Collaborates with product management for feature definition
- Facilitate workshops with product/scrum teams to develop user-centric solutions for product features
- Deliver in a fast-paced, collaborative agile scrum environment
- Practices holistic experience design
- Collaborate with User Researchers for more complex user testing and research
- Develop an understanding of product business requirements and technical limitations
- Understanding of the business and customer behavior
- Process flow and journey map creation
- Present prototypes to stakeholders
- Uses a variety of metrics to analyze and continuously improve the user experience
- Implement and contribute to the GMF design system to ensure UI and brand consistency and development
- Create interactive prototypes, wireframes and mockups including page layout and navigational elements
- Understanding of agile scrum principles
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- Understanding responsive design and mobile first principles
- Up to date knowledge of current industry trends and market conditions
- Understanding of user research principles
- Basic understanding of website analytics
- Solid understanding of visual design principles
- Facilitate working sessions/workshops with product & scrum teams
- Comfortable presenting work to stakeholders
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to create aesthetically pleasing interfaces and mockups
- Ability to interact effectively with others
- Adaptability to accommodate constantly changing priorities
- Multi-tasking, constant productivity, creativity, and the ability to deal with change
- Self-Motivated, and has a positive attitude, and is always looking to learn more
Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience required
- 3-5 years Product Design, UX Design, or UI/Visual Design required
