Overview: One Inc is looking for a Product Consultant to research and resolve complex client issues. This position is 100% remote and provides the opportunity to work for the leading Insurtech payments company, One Inc, named to Inc. Magazine's Annual Best Workplaces List for 2023.
As part of our Product team, you will be the go-to resource for our internal teams with questions about the One Inc product. You will partner collaboratively with stakeholders across our servicing teams to find options to achieve client outcomes within current-day product capabilities. You will also serve as an advisor to the Product team and write up proposals of problems to solve next, based on data and potential market opportunities.
Internally, you will act as connective tissue across the entire organization. You will be responsible for injecting deep product knowledge across all teams and unifying solution approaches across servicing teams in-line with product best practices. In addition to deeply understanding customer needs—at the technical product feature level—you will have your finger on the pulse of the payments industry and insurance industry trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist internal stakeholders with research and resolution of client requests outside typical product use cases.
- Provide consulting expertise and guide internal teams on the functions of our products.
- Root cause and troubleshoot the most complex issues, with an eye toward short term and long term options.
- Join client calls when needed to add clarity to escalated issues.
- Work as an advisor to the Professional Services team and propose solutions in-line with product practices.
- Write up proposed solutions equally well to a business or technical stakeholder audience, to be embedded in technical specifications, SOW’s, or product initiatives.
- Work as an advisor to the commercialization team to deepen materials upon rollout of new features.
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Success to present a product roadmap to prospects and current clients.

- Ability to communicate at a technical level with the engineering team but also able to simplify the message for a business audience.
Education & Experience:
- Preferred candidates will have experience in policy, billing, and claims systems within property & casualty insurance.
- Experience with digital payments a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or another related discipline, or relevant experience.
- 8+ years of enterprise software experience in customer-facing roles.
- Experience and understanding of the SDLC and interfacing with DevOps or IT teams.
- English fluency at native level.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time to customer and other locations in the United States.
