Responsibilities:

• Responsible for procuring consumables, raw materials and non-inventory items.
• Monitor and verify materials pipeline to ensure it fully supports production requirements.
• Maintain purchase order status and shipment tracking information in ERP system.
• Proactively report product and material availability issues & provides supply status and shipment tracking
• Review all proposed and received orders to ensure vendor compliance, and recommend vendor changes when necessary.
• Ensure that all purchase requests have been approved in accordance with authorized approval levels.
• Prepare and process purchase orders to comply with established purchasing procedures and maintain appropriate files.
• Ensure vendors adhere to all purchase terms and discounts.
• Create request for quotes and analyze vendor bids
• Communicate with potential vendors to establish the best possible terms for both parties

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP systems

Preferred

• Previous experience in purchasing.
• NetSuite ERP knowledge.
• Food or beverage experience within the CPG industry.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
