BASIC FUNCTION:
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for all pre-award functions for developing long-term contracts in support of critical information technology needs.
WORK PERFORMED:
- Develop competitive solicitation advertisements, RFP’s, RFQ’s, NYS Contract Reporter Ads, Contract Reporter Exemptions and Notices to Proceed, to ensure compliance with Public Authorities Law, NYS Finance Law, NYS Tax Laws and ESD Procurement Guidelines.
- Create a procurement record for solicitations of goods/services over $50,000.
- Assist in guiding contract selection committees.
- Draft Board of Directors Materials for anticipated information technology contracts.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education level required: Actively enrolled in bachelor’s degree program
