As a Senior Industrial Process Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing manufacturing processes, driving efficiency, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, implement innovative solutions, and enhance overall operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Optimization: Lead efforts to analyze existing manufacturing processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop strategies for optimization and cost reduction.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives through the implementation of Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other best practices.
Technology Integration: Evaluate new technologies, equipment, and automation systems to enhance productivity, quality, and safety within the manufacturing environment.
Quality Assurance: Work closely with Quality Assurance teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, implement corrective actions, and maintain high levels of product quality.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to streamline production workflows, resolve technical issues, and support new product introductions.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and hazards within manufacturing processes, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and production staff on process improvements, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience (X+ years) in industrial Process Engineering within a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process optimization and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, Simulink) and data analysis tools.
- Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and statistical analysis techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and organizational levels.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other relevant certifications is a plus.
