Responsibilities of the Process Engineer include:
- Responsible for providing innovative improvement opportunities to management
- Responsible for participating in Root Cause Analyses (RCA’s) in the Problem-Solving Process.
- Responsible for training personnel on operation and troubleshooting of new equipment.
- Responsible for maintaining Equipment documentation, SOP’s, Troubleshooting guides and training material
- Responsible for assisting Plant Engineering Department on new Capital projects
- Responsible for Identifying opportunities consistent with the business goals and provides input and direction on the day-to-day operations.
- Responsible for working with operators and supervisors daily to ensure the plant is operating with the Short Interval Controls (SIC) and helps them troubleshoot any problems.
- Responsible for Supporting long-term optimization and problem solving by initiating and supporting area improvement projects.
- Responsible for Project Estimate, Cost Control, Timing and Documentation
- Responsible for EHS, MOC, GMP Compliance
- Responsible for Managing Contractors as Necessary
- Responsible for Developing & Executing Projects as necessary
- Accountable for Ensuring Compliance with all QC Requirements (GMP, HACCP) and Providing Leadership to Drive Continuous Improvements in Product Quality. Understands the recording of FSP observations on production records/logs and how they pertain to the quality, legality and safety of products.
- Responsible for providing vacation and absence relief for Production Supervisors and, when doing so, provide leadership and coaching to employees in area of responsibility. Relief duties may occur on off-shifts and weekends.
- Responsible for filling in for Power & Production Superintendent during absences and is familiar with the Superintendent’s role.
- Accountable for compliance with FSSC quality standards.
Salary Range: $80,000-$105,000
