Responsibilities
The Private Company Accounting Manager will be responsible for:
- Monthly financial closings process
- Assistance with accounting procedures
- Review of back office and accounting staff work
- Implementing process improvements
- Responding to client requests for information
- Assessment and improvement of financial processes and internal control
- Developing and maintaining client relationships
- Completing other tasks as assigned
- Bachelor's degree with a focus in Accounting
- CPA
- 5+ years of experience
- 3+ years of public accounting experience
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, and Sage
- Excellent knowledge of GAAP and Statutory Accounting Principles
- Knowledge of Real Estate industry and related accounting software
