We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Product Manager to join our Data Product team. As a Principal Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of HealthEquity by providing strategic guidance and analysis to shape our Data initiatives. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying and aligning business needs with technology solutions, ensuring the efficient and effective utilization of resources, and enabling the achievement of our strategic objectives and driving member outcomes.
What you’ll be doing
Market Intelligence: Gathers and analyzes market intelligence to inform product strategy.- Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain a 3-year product roadmap that aligns with business goals, emerging trends, and innovative solutions to enhance revenue generation, operational efficiency, and competitive advantage.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversees the entire product lifecycle, from ideation through development, launch, and retirement.
- Vendor and Partner Relations: Builds and maintains relationships with vendors, partners, and other external entities.
- Performance Metrics and Goals: Sets and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success.
- Product Discovery: Drive analysis with internal stakeholders, customers, and partners to identify key pain points and solution requirements.
- Stakeholder Management: Establish strong relationships with business units, senior management, and other key stakeholders to understand their needs, provide regular updates on project progress, and ensure buy-in and support for Data Products
What you will need to be successful
- Knowledge of creation of software and Data Products or a closely related field as normally obtained through the completion of a High School Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, accounting, or economics majors, and/or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years work experience in product management
- Product-Led Growth experience preferred
- Knowledge of agile and SAFE preferred
- Proven ability to advance an operational unit’s strategic direction through identification of risk/opportunity and contributing to the corresponding mitigation/solution
- Highly adaptable, with the ability to rapidly assimilate new information and self-direct in the identification of team, system, and project implications.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think analytically and translate business needs into technology solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including influencing, negotiating, and driving consensus among diverse stakeholders and partners.
- Proactive mindset, able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
