JOB DESCRIPTION: Mental Health Therapist
REPORTS TO: Clinical Director
TIME COMMITMENT: 40 Hours
PAY: $70,000 - $80,000
JOB STATUS: Exempt, At-Will Employee

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains a caseload of 6-8 students conducting various therapy services including individual, family, and group therapy.
- Performs monthly communication with Educational Consultants
- Record and maintain weekly case notes
- Provides emergency response to any crisis pertaining to a student on the caseload
- Attends weekly treatment team meetings
- Participates in weekly team building on the milieu
- Contacts parents of students on a regular basis as well as participates in student team calls
- Participates in family days
- Joins in to help with AWOL students and keeps the parents informed
- Completes special assignments as directed by their supervisor

Qualifications:
- Utah State license
- Masters level or higher
- Professional documentation and charting skills
- Experience in treating youth and young adults
- Comfortable with a team approach
- Willingness to learn Telos systems and approach
Preferred
- Experience in the residential treatment industry
- Working knowledge of Family Systems Theory
- Special training in working with emotional dysregulation
- Previous experience as a Primary Therapist
