JOB SUMMARY:
This position will be responsible for the research, analysis and maintenance of service parts pricing with direct guidance from the Pricing Managers. The Pricing Analyst is responsible for autonomously maintaining parts pricing, researching competitive data as well as assisting the Parts Marketing team with development, implementation, and maintenance of pricing strategy for all marketing programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
- Manage tactical aspects of parts pricing (e.g. price book management and price changes for all pricing areas of responsibility and regions).
- Maintain pricing policies and procedures in accordance with the company’s aftermarket strategy.
- Review competitive pricing and market direction triggers to ensure that our pricing is in alignment with the market.
- Analyze and present regional pricing comparisons and directional activity.
- Review ad hoc requests for special pricing to assure accuracy and appropriate approvals.
- Communicate pricing decisions to the Aftermarket organization as necessary.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or equivalent.
- Three (3) or more years of experience in Aftermarket Sales/Support or in a related area.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of economic and pricing principles.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively communicate and all levels of the organization.
- Analytical, critical thinking, attention to detail, communication and partnering skills to evaluate data and provide recommendations.
- Proven analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Project management skills working with multiple priorities.
- Prior experience working in, or with, an OEM manufacturing industry.
- Prior experience working with parts pricing.
- Prior experience working in aftermarket support or sales.
