SUMMARY
Processes pricing requests submitted by Field Partners, Regional Sales Managers (RSM), and Territory Sales Managers (TSM). Conduct sales support activities for our Sales Team and Field Partners.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Process pricing requests to provide timely product proposals to Field Partners and Irwin RSM/TSM sales group.
- Process freight quotes as necessary to complete proposals.
- Obtain installation quotes as necessary to complete proposals.
- Identify missing or inaccurate information on pricing requests and establish communication with Field Partner, RSM, or TSM to obtain information necessary to complete proposal.
- Develop relationship with Regional Sales Managers and Territory Sales Managers toward goal of providing them with value added feedback relative to the pricing process with Field Partners.
- Conduct analysis of pricing request forms, complete special product request (SPR) forms, and process pricing for project.
- Communicate product and process information sufficient to answer Field Partner and customer questions.
- Data entry into Salesforce, such as logging quote due dates, reporting projects won/lost, etc.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding various topics surrounding pricing, quoting and general sales process.
- Participate in project hand-off process for new orders received.
- Participate in continuous improvement or problem-solving events as necessary.
- Order Procurement Team support, as needed.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as project specifications and bid instructions. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence clearly and effectively. Ability to speak effectively, one on one, or before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
Mathematical
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel required.
Reasoning
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to think critically to provide suggestions likely to improve Irwin Seating Company’s competitive position.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree (BA) or equivalent from four-year college preferred. Previous experience in contract furniture and/or specialty construction equipment estimating beneficial.
