Pre-Production Clerk

Assist the Preproduction department with various tasks including, but not limited to, the following.

• Scan trays as they come from Final Inspection to produce a "shipped" status in the computer system
• Print billing invoices and distribute them by tray number into trays that were just wanded
• Wrap glasses and/or lenses in foam and the billing invoice or sticker label
• Distribute wrapped jobs into the appropriate bins as to not ship to wrong customer/account
• Place empty trays on red cart to be taken back out to Receiving
• Cross-train in Wash Up area - washing lenses and inspecting them for scratches
• Pre-Box and box completed product to prepare for shipments
• Trace inside of frames using a tracing machine to save shape in system.

• Cross train and help in other areas of the department as needed and as directed by Supervisor and/or Lead such as Frame To Come, Frame Receiving, Mail Open, etc. 

• High School Diploma or GED

• None required

• Able and willing to work as a team
• Able to read and write English Language well
• Have good eyesight, hand/eye coordination, manual dexterity, attention to detail
• Work without supervision
• Must be available to work Overtime and Saturdays when needed

PAY RATE: $15-$16/hr.
