Production Clerk - 1St And 2Nd Shift

1st Shift: Monday through Friday 6am - 3pm + OccasionalSaturdays
2nd Shift: Monday through Friday 4pm - 12:30am + OccasionalSaturdays

PURPOSE:
A Production Clerk is responsible for following standard operating procedures, preparations and distribution of various production reports.
What you'll be doing:

• Ability to work with a labor tracking system
• Open and close shop orders - corrections to production entries
• Coordinate and communicate with temporary staffing agency on a day-to-day attendance
• Ability to do production reporting - accurate data entry into computer system
• Work with payroll to ensure employee hours are correct - audit own work to ensure correct hours are communicated to corporate payroll
• Must know SAP, understand WFM, and " Ceridian"
• Various Excel spreadsheets with accurate data that communicate data trends on production support processes
• Administrative assignments delegated from Production Supervisor

What you'll need:

• A high school diploma or GED certification and be at least 18 years of age, required.
• One year or more of previous experience as a Production Clerk preferred but not required.
• Must be able to read and write and answer basic questions in English. English proficient required. Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Must understand Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• SAP Software experience preferred but not required.
• Payroll management, attendance tracking and Ceridian payroll software experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to complete administrative assignments as needed.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is subject to standing for prolonged periods; frequently walks, grasps, lifts, holds, or feels objects; occasionally stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls.
• The employee frequently is required to use manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination when working and handling products or machinery.
• The employee is subject to assist and support up to 25 pounds with varying amounts of assistance on a reoccurring basis.
• The employee is required to have corrected vision and hearing within normal range and the ability to operate equipment.
• The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and non-moving mechanical parts.
• The employee could have work conditions that are extremely cold or extremely hot.
• The employee may be exposed to wet conditions at times and may work on wet floors.
• The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and risk of electrical shock.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
