Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Production Scheduler Clerk located in Chicago, IL. The Clerk is responsible for ensuring production schedules and delivery timings are met while maintaining open communication with customer service, production, and logistics teams to manage inventory allocation, scheduling changes, and work orders. The Production Scheduler Clerk also monitors the production process and identifies opportunities for optimization and improvement.
Qualifications
- 1-2+ years of experience in manufacturing or production control environment
- Understanding of manufacturing operations, scheduling, logistics, production processes, and control methods
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and personnel from multiple departments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other production control software/tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, make sound decisions under pressure and handle multiple priorities
- A strong sense of urgency and commitment to meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations
