Job Description
Medi Home Health Agency, a proud member of the MSA family, currently seeks a full-Time Pre-Billing Coordinator for our Home Health location in Pensacola, FL.
This position is responsible for agency preparedness for billing on a daily basis. Assists in maintaining data integrity by monitoring data in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and working with other agency personnel to obtain data timely and facilitate corrections as needed. Other responsibilities include:
- Sets up companies or providers for services as resources.
- Monitors the Pre-Billing Audit Status report, Service Transaction History report, Visit Frequency report, Authorizations report and works with appropriate agency staff to expedite resolution of issues in order to facilitate billing.
- Reviews the Therapy Utilization report on a bi-weekly basis to ensure only qualified disciplines have made the qualifying and 30 day evaluation visits.
- Monitors the Assessment Reservation report to ensure that that billing is not delayed by reservations that should be released.
- Generates the OASIS Due Alert report to evaluate timeliness of OASIS assessments.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
- Previous Home Health billing experience preferred.
