Symphonic Digital is looking for a PPC Account Director with extensive digital agency experience managing mid-to large-size PPC client accounts across search and paid social channels. This is a full-time and fully remote role.

In our structure, this PPC Account Director is an expert in one or two performance media channels (with a keen focus on Paid Search) and can develop and plan a media strategy, build and maintain client relationships, and manage and lead an execution team. This person must have strong communication skills and significant experience in client-facing roles.
Qualifications & Expectations
- 7-10 years of experience directly managing paid media accounts:
- Managed medium to large agency accounts.
- Developed insightful and winning paid search strategies.
- Managed teams while continuing to perform hands-on work.
- Developed strong client relationships with large accounts.
- Driven quantifiable performance improvements in Google, Bing, and Facebook.
- Strong communication skills:
- Served as a lead in a client-facing role and proven strength at explaining media concepts, plans, and marketing strategies.
- Can act as a client and internal liaison by setting expectations, leading client calls, developing and delivering monthly strategy updates, communicating key metrics, goals, and optimization opportunities.
- Has a demonstrated ability to support cross-functional agency teams, partners, and clients.
- Has a strong digital agency background:
- Seeks out ongoing knowledge of evolving digital media tools, trends, and tactics as a resource for agency teams.
- Understands the differences and challenges between working with small budgets and working with large budgets.
- Technology proficiencies:
- Fluent in paid search platforms: Google Ads, Bing Ads.
- Proficient in Google Sheets and/or Excel.
- Familiar with task management systems.
- Have used 3rd party tracking tools (e.g., Facebook pixel, Hotjar, etc.).
- Have used reporting dashboards (e.g., Google Data Studio).
- Bid management tools such as Marin, Optmyzr is a strong plus.
- Understanding of:
- SEO (Search Engine Optimization – enough knowledge to have a conversation).
- Vertical/Industry Experience: A successful team member will have worked across a variety of industries with varying goals and objectives from sales and ROAS, to lead generation and awareness.
