Position Description
The Cifani Lab at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory seeks a curious, creative, and passionate Postdoctoral Fellow with a strong background in mass spectrometry-based proteomics to lead a project focusing on methods to measure non-canonical post-translational modification and on defining their functional role in cancer and normal cell homeostasis. In addition, the Postdoctoral Fellow will participate in other research programs in the lab (single-cell proteomics and protein interaction profiling) and in collaborative projects within the CSHL Cancer Center, CSHL at large, and partner institutions.
Position Requirements
Education: The successful candidate has a PhD or equivalent title, obtained within the last 2 years (or in the process of obtaining it).
Skills/Experience: Hands-on experience with nano-scale chromatography and high-resolution mass spectrometry and a solid knowledge of the theoretical basis of these technologies are essential.
