- Coordinate all the services associated with each vessel call including but not limited to pilots, stevedores, clearance with government officials, and provisioning.
- Day of ship day attendance, often weekends, from 0600-1600hrs.
- Manage the vessel operations for the port call and resolve daily incidences.
- Organize transportation and hotels for crew members.
- On-call duties as assigned.
- Reply and attend to all communication received from the ship and vendors relating to the ship calls.
- Travel will be involved up to 50% of the job including potential temporary relocation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Problem solving and analytical skills.
- Able to work independently and stay on task with little oversight.
- Good office administration and organizational skills with an attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially Outlook.
- Heavy customer service background.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift 50lbs
