Plumbing Sewer Scope Technician

Job Summary:
The Plumbing Sewer Scope Technician position at Pillar to Post Home Inspectors is a full-time, individual contributor role that supports the franchise business in West Chester, Ohio. The individual in this role is responsible for performing diagnostic inspections of residential plumbing systems. The compensation for this role is $45,000 to $75,000 annually.

Upon successful completion of the role requirements, the Plumbing Sewer Scope Technician may be eligible to receive:

Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostic inspections of residential plumbing systems.
• Use a camera in the sewer line to inspect for potential clogs, debris, or other blockages.
• Use specialized sewer diagnostic software and equipment to access and assess water flow and pressure, determine clog location, and diagnose water system issues.
• Identify problems and offer recommend course of actions to solve recurring and reoccurring drainage and water pressure issues.
• Liaise with contract professionals for sewer line repairs, replacement, and backup services.
• Keep factual records of all inspections and findings supported with photos, video recordings, diagrams, and written reports.
• Ensure accuracy of reports and maintain high standards of ethical and professional practice.
• Acquire and maintain all required licensing and certifications.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Willingness to maintain safety and health regulations
• Comfortable working in awkward/constrained spaces
• Great problem-solving and customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communications
• Good physical fitness and comfort with some manual labor
• Computer proficiency in a Windows environment
