Plant Nursery Operations Assistant

• Pine Forest Gardens is a grower of hostas and other shade perennial plants. Our online business involves pulling plant orders, preparing for shipment and packaging for protection of plants.
• This position has a range of tasks including nursery maintenance, potting plants and shipping plants from our web site.
• Other duties may involve planting shrubs, perennials and annuals, pruning, weeding, spreading mulch, general landscape maintenance and more.
• A basic understanding of gardening, and the growing cultures of perennial plants.
• Applicants must be able to lift 50LBS and work in all types of weather conditions.
• Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
• Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Starting pay is negotiable depending on level of experience.

• Schedule:

6-8 hour shiftMonday to FridayDuring busy retail season job may require some weekend work. Education:

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

• Experience:

Horticultural Knowledge Required (or a willingness to be acquired). Mention your passion for plants in your cover letter.
