The Georgia Tech Athletic Associate (GTAA) sponsors varsity intercollegiate athletics competition in 17 NCAA Division I sports for the Georgia Institute of Technology. We are a proud member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. Steeped in history and success while embracing strategic innovation, our programs compete at the highest level and strive for national championships. Job SummaryProvide service to customers for tickets to Georgia Tech athletic events to include operation of automated ticketing systems, responding to customer inquiries and maintaining associated records. Coordinates ticketed admissions to sporting events. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: Ticketing Operations management and staff, customers. This position typically will advise and counsel: customers, interns and student assistants. This position will supervise: NA.
ResponsibilitiesJob Duty 1 -
Coordinate and provide phone and window services related to sporting event ticket inquiries, sales and related customer services.
Job Duty 2 -
Monitor performance of and operate ticketing related software systems.
Job Duty 3 -
Participate in sports event management through coordination of ticketed admissions process.
Job Duty 4 -
Account for and report on ticketing sales.
Job Duty 5 -
Supervise activities of interns and student employees as required.
Job Duty 6 -
Perform other duties as assigned
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Experience
One to two years of job related experience
SKILLS
This job requires working knowledge of box office operations and related customer service and sales. Use of ticketing software and office related computer applications is required.
