Wieland is hiring a Plant Manager. Plant ManagerResponsibilities:
- Drive Continuous Improvement of the Organization for future growth and success of the organization
- Satisfying customer expectations for quality, delivery and performance of products and services.
- Assuring performance to annual financial performance objectives of the organization.
- Aligning organizational results and plans with the overall corporate strategic vision and plans
- Developing the organization to foster continuous improvement.
- Establishing a culture of Lean Thinking and processes in the organization.
- Leading the organization including all leadership tasks such as performance review and management
Plant Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Business/Finance/Engineering/Operations/Management or other related field
- MBA and/or any high-level Leadership-Management training desirable
- 3 - 5 years of management experience in production environment
- Ability to coach, mentor and communicate with individuals across a broad range of education, experience, and functional backgrounds
- Strong background in Strategic Planning
- Very strong ability and desire to learn and apply new concepts
- The personality and desire of an influential "change agent"
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement & extensive knowledge of LEAN tools and techniques for improvement
- Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with all people
