- Develop, plan, and execute the capital and expense budgets for the facility.
- Be actively involved in the staffing of the plant and building your team.
- Develop an effective onboarding program for all new employees to ensure compliance with all of the company's policies and procedures.
- Supervise daily plant activities
- Review and report financial, operations, and production data.
- Learn and establish a positive working culture
- Oversee maintenance of plant inventory, including:
- Storage Inspection
- Product & Part Purchase Approval
- Transportation Coordination
- Develop and maintain a facility of cleanliness and safety
- Ensure that product quality complies with applicable protocols
- Ensure compliance with all applicable governing laws & regulations
- Select, recommend, evaluate, and approve internal candidates for positions within the plant
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient and accurate operations

- BS degree in Engineering/Science-Based along with a strong business acumen
- Experience with a Plant Start-Up or major plant expansion is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of Plant Management Experience in commodities processing:
- Soybean
- Cottonseed
- Pine Tar
- Corn
- Knowledge of the multiple facets of producing a finished product from a raw source.
- Ability to operate RX Logix 5000 and RSS Linx
- Track record of compliance with industry regulations and guidelines, including
- NFPA
- EPA
- OSHA
- PSM
- NOPA Weigh Master Certification required.
