Travel: Very minimal. (Maybe 1 or 2 short trips per year to New Jersey)
Salary Range: $175k - 250k (plus incentive bonus)

The Holdrege Plant Manager is responsible for the total operation of the Holdrege plant, which includes providing guidance and direction to all departments so that the P&L is positively managed and production schedules are met at or below budgeted cost, all while producing in accordance with established specifications and maintaining or improving product quality.
The incumbent will establish and maintain meaningful communications with all levels of plant and corporate personnel in order to effectively meet budgets and forecasts. They will progress the professional development of key managers in the facility and develop and execute a site manufacturing strategy.
The Holdrege Plant Manager is a member of the Manufacturing Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Vice President of Manufacturing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Essential functions include but are not limited to:
- Full responsibility for the plants P&L performance
- Driving performance across all KPI’s – Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost & People
- Ensuring that Holdrege is a safe place to work while driving to zero accidents
- Setting expectations for high product quality, ensuring regulatory compliance and no product recalls or significant customer complaints
- Owning and driving an overall vision for the plant at all levels: strategic/operational/tactical
- Setting expectations for performance; driving a culture of continuous improvement in both the current business model and adjacent spaces
- Driving the sites Overall Equipment Effectiveness to best in class levels
- Using data and metrics to optimize performance across the plant
- Building organizational & personal capability, leadership self-sufficiency, internal & external relationships

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
- 15+ years of experience in manufacturing, 10 of those years in a team leadership role managing to a financial budget/delivering financial performance and at least 5 years in a previous plant management position
- 4-year degree in Engineering, Business, or close equivalent; MBA preferred
- This person needs to be responsible for currently managing a similar size number of workers and size of company structure/facility.
- Responsibility of site will be 500 employees (With approximately 9 direct reports)
- Demonstrated evidence of team development, performance improvement, creating and living up to a shared set of values
- Foresight, vision, ability to set and achieve long-term plans
- Ability to deliver results through others/teamwork, encourages participative decision-making
- Excellent interpersonal & communications skills
- Working knowledge of FDA regulations & other medical device regulatory compliance requirements; experience leading in a regulated environment preferred (will consider Automotive background)
- Proficiency in problem solving & decision-making skills
- High level of knowledge in both lean manufacturing and world-class manufacturing principles
- Ability to plan, organize, budget
