Our company is looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Plant Controller for our manufacturing division. This is a permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, playing a critical role in financial planning, accounting, and control. The Plant Controller will be responsible for managing and coordinating all plant accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial information for decision-making, and driving cost control initiatives.
Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial aspects of the manufacturing plant, including cost accounting, general ledger, and inventory control.
• Prepare and present financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain plant accounting policies and procedures.
• Work closely with the plant management team to develop and manage the plant P&L, budget, and forecast.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
• Perform account reconciliations and provide audit support.
• Use ERP systems to automate and improve processes and controls.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decisions.
• Drive cost control initiatives and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably as a Plant Controller or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and general ledger.
• Experience with month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement preparation.
• Proficient in plant accounting and inventory control.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and analyze financial data.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
