Position Details:

The Opportunity:

Facilities Services, Operations Department is seeking qualified candidates for the Plant Communications Coordinator position. You will operate the Central Telephone Switchboard and receive maintenance calls, work requests, and refer callers to appropriate parties within the department. You will prepare and expedite all work order requests, etc.; operate two-way radio communications, produce multiple Maintenance Reports, and keeps Maintenance department statistics.

The Work Schedule:

Sunday – 12am-6am; 6pm-11pm

Friday 11pm- Saturday 6am

Saturday – 6pm-12am

Required Qualifications:

  • High School graduation or equivalent AND one year of experience in some aspect of shop related work to provide general familiarity with repair and maintenance activities; OR equivalent education/experience.

  • Ability to adhere to the listed schedule.

  • May fill-in/relief for other shifts during the workweek as necessary.

  • Experience in using computers.

  • Ability to speak and understand English clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One (1) year clerical experience.

Monthly Salary:

Range 48 | $4,072 to $5,479 (Step A - M) | Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
