Planning and Supply Scheduling Specialist

Opportunity

Our client is seeking a Planning andScheduling Specialist to join their team in St.Louis, MO. This position will work closely with forecasting, operations planning, and procurement planning functions reviewing and adjusting demands at a global and local level. This is a contract, hybrid position with all trainings onsite.

Responsibilities

• Compile long and short term capacity plans ensuring supply chainplanning designs to achive global and service inventory objectives
• Create operational schedule based on customer service and company/department goals
• Use SAP APO or other scheduling software to optimize production schedules
• Develop SAP genrated reportsto identify and measure opportunites for improvement of strategies
• Analyze planned orders, requiremenst, and designs . Convert planned orders to purchase orders
• Identify scheduling constraints and terst various methods to reduce or eliminate constraints
• Analyze inventory and forecast status to provide exceptional customer service
• Enforce inventory policies
• Manually enter forecast data to data bases
• Maintain audit key SAP planning master data
• Manage SAP exception messages and respond on recommended plan changes
• Collaborate with purchasing and production to ensure bulk availability and packaging requirements including supplies

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business preferred
• 2+ years of supply chain planning, forecasting and moving material through delivery cycle
• APICS certifiation preferred
• Experience in SAP highly preferred
• Knowledge of ISO standards in documentation
• APICS certification preferred
• Proficient in spreadsheets ,databases, and data analysis

Benefits

• Pay is up to $68K ($33 per hour), commensurate with experience,
• 1 year contract opportunity with possibility for extension or direct hire
