Physical Therapy Aide/Front Desk

Potrero Physical Therapy is currently seeking to fill a part time Physical Therapy aide role. We are a privately owned outpatient Physical Therapy clinic specializing in orthopedics. We are a small company with two clinics located in San Francisco focused on quality one-on-one patient care - a great place to learn and prepare for a career in healthcare and Physical Therapy.

Primary Role:

• To provide various administrative support and serve as a liaison between patients and physical therapists.

Patient care:

*Assist therapists with patient care
*Teach and demonstrate exercises as per physical therapist direction
*Administer modalities: ice, heat, traction, estim, ultrasound

Front desk/Administrative tasks:

• Greet patients and review COVID questions and protocols.
• Collect co-pays/deductibles
• Schedule patients for their plan of care
• Answer phones
• Patient intake
• Discussing benefits
• Making copies

Clinic Duties:

General clinic maintenance (example: trash removal, vacuuming, laundry distribution) and equipment cleaning

Hours needed:*

Monday and Tuesday 12:30pm-5pm

*Spanish proficiency is a plus
* Friendly, personable, able to make patients feel comfortable

*Interest in the medical field (PT, PA, OT, PTA)
*Completion of Human Anatomy course work
*Able to commit to 9+ months

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $18.07 per hour
