JOB SUMMARY
The Pharmacy Delivery Driver is directly responsible for transporting prepared medications from GLBHC pharmacies to patient's homes. Responsible for initiating supply requests and stocking supplies in the pharmacies. Responsible for keeping HIPPA information safe and accurately delivering medications to the correct patients.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

1. Transports prepared medications from GLBHC pharmacies to GLBHC patients.
2. Cleans vehicle inside and out after each workday. Maintains vehicle with appropriate fuel and fluid levels. Provides general maintenance.
3. Maintains mileage log and submits to Pharmacy Director.
4. Communicates with Pharmacy Director/Pharmacy Manager/Pharmacy Coordinator as to job assignments, location and status of vehicle.
5. Maintains responsibility for the protection of communication equipment and other GLBHC assets.
6. Requests, acquires and delivers supplies to pharmacies. Responsible for making sure orders are complete and accurate.
7. Maintains up to date and accurate documentation as required by federal/state and pharmacy requirements.

MARGINAL JOB DUTIES
1. Assists Inventory Clerk as necessary.
2. Acts on behalf of GLBHC in matters relating to safety and security.
3. Assists pharmacy runners on site as necessary.
4. Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED JOB SPECIFICATIONS
1. Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
2. Licensure: Valid Michigan Driver's License. Chauffer's License or in
process of obtaining. DOT certified or in the process of obtaining.
3. Experience: Previous experience with transporting.
4. Skills: Impeccable driving record. Evidence of insurability required.
Organized and dependable. Able to follow directions, prioritize tasks, develop a routine and function efficiently with minimal supervision.
5. Interpersonal Skills: Friendly and courteous. Ability to communicate effectively
with a diverse population. Flexible and able to adjust to various situations and schedules. Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
6. Physical Effort: Medium
7. Hours of Work: Full-time; flexible and varied. Telecommuting not an option
for this position.
8. Travel: Extensive travel between locations and to make deliveries
requiring use of a company vehicle.
