Pharmacist - Prn

We are looking for a PRN Pharmacist to join our team!

The Pharmacist is responsible for the interpretation of medication orders including: compounding and dispensing of medications, medication order entry, and recommendations for pharmaceutical alternatives. The position requires professionalism when interacting with patients and LSH staff. The pharmacist will educate staff on medication related information and counsel patients on anticoagulation and pain medication management.

Hours: PRN (as needed), Monday - Friday, shifts may vary but typically 5:30 am - 2:00 pm or 10:30 am - 7:00 pm with potential for Saturday coverage, as needed.

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.
• Pharmacy License must be in good standing as a registered pharmacist in the state of Nebraska.
• Current BLS required at time of hire.
• Must obtain PALS and ACLS within 90 days of employment.
• Two years experience as a pharmacist preferred.
• Work experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
