Sav-Rx Prescription Services is looking for a Clinical Pharmacist to fill an onsite opening at our corporate offices located at 224 N. Park Ave. in Fremont.
A successful candidate for this position will be organized, flexible, self-directed, able to multi-task effectively, and appropriately manage and interact with other members of the Clinical Team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Must be currently licensed (or working toward licensure) with the Nebraska Board of Pharmacy and in good standing
- Proficient in windows-based programs such as Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Microsoft Teams .
- Excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Main Responsibilities:
- Prior authorization reviews for wide variety of disease states
- Peer to Peer meetings with prescribers
- PBM standard reporting and presentations for clients
- Drug formulary maintenance of new and existing medications
- Client implementation of clinical programs
- New client implementation
- Minimal on call
- Travel as necessary for client presentations
Pharmacists are also expected to conduct traditional pharmacist duties such as:
- Prescription Transfers
- Counsel patients on medication usage and answer drug related questions
- Research drug literature to provider clinical recommendations to practitioners
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of changes in pharmacy practices, laws and medications
- Application of this knowledge in the performance of daily activities is also necessary
- Other assignments as directed by Management

Pay: $54.00 - $57.00 per hour
