Burnetti, P.A. has been serving the injured people of Florida for 30 years and we are seeking a full time Legal Assistant with experience in coordinating, scheduling hearings, mediations, depositions as well as managing auto accident, slip and fall, and general Personal Injury cases for our Lakeland. The ideal candidate must have prior legal experience and able to communicate in a timely, effective and respectful manner with judicial assistants, opposing counsel and clients.

Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to Paralegal and Attorneys;
- Prepare basic legal documents and correspondence;
- Request records;
- Communicate with clients, witnesses and experts;
- Monitor deadlines;
- Other duties as assigned;
This position is full-time, Monday through Friday – 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Ability:
- Prior Legal Assistant experience, within a law firm setting
- Experience in Personal Injury law
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent Organizational Skills
- Ability to work as a team and independently
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office 365 of applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not necessary
- Valid Florida Driver's License
