Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Manage a caseload of Personal Injury cases from inception through resolution, ensuring thorough attention to detail and client satisfaction.
- Client Interaction: Regularly communicate with clients, providing clear updates and explanations regarding the progress and strategy of their cases.
- Legal Research and Strategy: Perform comprehensive legal research on relevant laws, statutes, and case law. Develop and implement effective legal strategies tailored to each case.
- Document Preparation: Draft, review, and manage a variety of legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery documents, and settlement agreements.
- Discovery and Negotiations: Oversee the discovery process, gather and analyze evidence, and negotiate with opposing parties to achieve favorable settlements.
- Trial Representation: Represent clients in court, including pre-trial hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials, while effectively advocating on their behalf.
- Case Evaluation: Conduct detailed case evaluations, assessing the merits and risks of each case to provide clients with realistic expectations and strategic advice.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure coordinated and comprehensive case management.
- Professional Development: Remain current with developments in Personal Injury law, participating in continuing legal education and professional growth activities.
- Business Development: Contribute to the growth and reputation of the firm through networking, community involvement, and building relationships with potential referral sources.
