MONDAY-SATURDAY- JOB REQUIRES 1 HOUR OF WORK A DAY.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of Personal Care. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Duties:
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide assistance with mobility, including transferring and positioning clients
- Administer medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and restrictions
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up living areas
- Engage in activities that promote socialization and mental stimulation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with behavior management techniques as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Knowledge of senior care principles and practices
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and dietary restrictions
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- First aid certification is a plus
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions from healthcare professionals
