Location: Cleburne, TX
Job Purpose:
Enables clients to stay in their homes and improve quality of life by monitoring and recording their condition; provides Personal Care services and support. This is NON-MEDICAL Direct Care.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct Personal Care of Non-Medical nature, according to an approved plan of care
- Supports clients by aiding with the Activities of Daily Living or ADLs (bathing/dressing/toileting/hygiene/meal prep/assistance with meals/mobility monitoring/medication reminders
- Helps family members or primary caregivers care for the client by teaching appropriate ways to lift, turn, and re-positioning if necessary
- Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy client environment by following agency standards and procedures
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
- Protects the home care agency by adhering to professional standards, home care policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements
- Enhances service reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
