We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Personal Care Assistants. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of Personal Care services. Duties:
- Provide Personal Care services to clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Administer medication under the supervision of a nurse or healthcare professional
- Monitor and manage behaviors of individuals with autism or other behavioral challenges
- Support individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as mobility assistance and transferring
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the well-being of clients
Experience:
- Previous experience in senior care or assisted living is preferred
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is beneficial
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
