SalaryGuardian Angels Homecare in Cheshire has immediate PCA-Personal Care Assistantpositions available. The ideal candidate must be compassionate, reliable, a good communicator and experienced.
Responsibilities include:
- Helping with bathing/Personal Care/grooming/dressing/undressing
- Support clients who can't move on their own/turning/positioning/transferring
- Monitor skin care/observation/treatment
- Ensure client receives their medication on time/Cues
- Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment/Making bed
- Laundry
- Meal Preparation/Planning according to client's restrictions/Feeding
- Grocery shopping/Errands/Accompany to medical appointments
- Socialization/Conversation/Emotional support
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year home care experience
- Authorized to work in the United States
- A valid driver's license and your own insured vehicle
- Able to do housework and cooking
- Hoyer lift experience is a plus
- Well-organized and reliable
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Must be able to read and write in English
- High school diploma or equivalent
