Responsibilities

• Review and interpret policy coverage to determine whether the claim is payable under the policy
• Correspond with insured's, claimants, medical specialists, agents, and witnesses to compile information
• Take accurate and detailed statements from all involved parties
• Calculate and approve payment of claims within a certain monetary limit
• Negotiate and settle property losses with little oversight
• Identify recovery and subrogation potential and handle according to company procedural guidelines

Qualifications

• Have and maintain Property & Casualty Adjuster License issued by the Texas Department of Insurance
• Two years’ experience in handling Personal Auto claims
• Bilingual preferred (Spanish and English)
• High school Diploma or GED, College degree is a plus
• Strong negotiation skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Strong ability to juggle many tasks while keeping organized

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
