Job Title: Personal Assistant for Medical Provider
We are seeking a highly organized and reliable individual to fill the position of Personal Assistant for a Medical Provider. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to the medical provider in managing their professional and personal affairs. Responsibilities:
1. Calendar Management: Coordinate and manage the medical provider's schedule, including appointments, meetings, and events, ensuring optimal use of time and prioritization of tasks.
2. Patient Liaison: Act as a point of contact for patients, scheduling appointments, managing inquiries, and ensuring a positive patient experience.
3. Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks such as drafting correspondence, organizing documents, and maintaining electronic and paper files.
4. Medical Records Management: Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
5. Travel Coordination: Arrange travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and transportation, for both professional and personal trips.
6. Expense Management: Track expenses, prepare reimbursement requests, and manage financial records related to the medical provider's practice and personal expenses.
7. Communication: Facilitate communication between the medical provider and staff, patients, and external stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
8. Research and Analysis: Conduct research on various topics as requested by the medical provider, compile information, and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
9. Personal Errands: Assist with personal errands and tasks as needed, such as shopping, meal preparation, and household management.
10. Other Duties: Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the medical provider in their professional and personal endeavors.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
2. Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting, is highly desirable.
3. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
4. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor.
5. Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information, including medical records and personal affairs.
6. Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical records systems.
