Permit Coordinator

What You’ll Do:

• Create plan and profile permit drawings from ESRI ArcGIS Pro/ArcMap, while coordinate with Design and Construction management to identify required permits and research permit requirements for identified permit authorities.
• Interface with numerous municipal building and roadway departments to complete permit application requests, coordinate work inspections and secure project completion approvals.
• Deliver completed permit applications and fees to various municipal Public Works or business license departments to secure construction and right-of-way encroachment permits and prepare permit estimates and order check requests for permit fees associated with project.
• Communicate with jurisdictional employees to understand any changes in permitting requirements and cultivating positive working relationships with municipalities and other permitting entities.
• Track all permits through their life cycle, ensuring all requirements are met to ensure timely processing to meet project deadlines through permit closure and creating construction notes and construction typicals that fulfill permit requirements of applying jurisdiction.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma required.
• Relevant experience in telecommunications network design and engineering.
• 2+ years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
