JOB TITLE: Permit Coordinator I
REPORTS TO: Operations Manager
OBJECTIVE
Review house starts and order permits for all cities assigned.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Review all house starts and order all documents required to submit homes for permits within assigned cities. (City Levels: 1-2)
Ensure all documents received are scanned and filed in the appropriate house files.
Ensure the turnaround time is met for all 3rd party providers and cities.
Ensure all construction packets are error free and completed in a timely manner.
Work with Construction and Sales Management to resolve any issues that occur while ordering the appropriate documents and permits.
Ensure the accuracy of all homes that are entered into system in a timely manner.
Ensure all StrucSure (10-year home warranty) documents are obtained and scanned into the appropriate house files.
Responsible for updating City Requirements file as changes occur.
Responsible to assist with any cities/communities that increase in volume in order to keep within acceptable department turnaround times.
Complete other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Years of Experience: 0 – 1 years
Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
Strong communication, interpersonal, written communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively with team members in sales, purchasing, construction and 3rd party providers.
Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on detail.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Access.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.06 - $23.07 per hour
