Position Overview
You will join the leadership team at our Pomona, CA manufacturing facility. You will balance the operational priorities of a production environment with a strategic business focus, bringing insight, an independent viewpoint, and ‘HR’expertise to business issues. With a robust P&O ecosystem to support you, you will consult with and influence managers on emerging people topics, translate business requirements into people imperatives, and work collaboratively across teams and locations to develop solutions to business challenges and drive opportunities. You will report to the People & Organization Manager – EP Operations and will maintain an on-site presence at our factory in Pomona.

Strategic Consulting | Business Strategy
In-depth understanding of all areas of the business, interrelationships, and external marketplace to inform human capital impacts and implications.
Leverage business understanding to connect leadership and organization approaches with the broader Siemens ecosystem, utilizing thought leadership, analysis of people/culture impacts, and persuasive recommendations.
Strategic Consulting | People Strategy
As an active member of the site leadership team, you consult with leaders to identify people and cultural priorities that will best achieve desired business results.
Apply knowledge of organizational development practices and organizational effectiveness principles towards aligning business and people strategies to drive better business outcomes.
Actively use and interpret data, identify root causes/trends/themes, and present insights to senior leadership proactively to inform smart people-related
Drive strategic workforce planning partnering with the business and Talent Acquisition to ensure creative sourcing of skilled internal and external talent to meet future business requirements; identify needs and make recommendations.
Conduct an annual wage analysis and prepare pay proposals to attract and retain our people.
Coaching and Culture
Challenge leaders to think through people's implications of business decisions and reinforce the importance of culture initiatives, equipping them to become more effective leaders and role models for their people.
Be a change leader; identify the need for and lead change efforts, enabling organizations to adapt to new or changing structures, thinking/behavioral initiatives, or business processes.
Drive a culture of ownership by empowering employees and managers to fully utilize available self-service resources and tools.
Resolve routine operational issues and engage the Employee Relations team on more complex issues and investigations.
Support Union Matters (grievances, labor relations, etc.) and facilitate Leave Administration and ADA/Transitional duty processes.
You will win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications, Education, and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
3-5 years of human resources generalist experience demonstrating a working knowledge of multiple disciplines including employee relations, performance management, and management consultation.
20% domestic travel associated with this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to handle multiple projects or tasks while effectively prioritizing to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal communication (written and oral) and coaching skills for clarity, persuasion, and influence.
Flexible, self-directed, and able to interact effectively with individuals/teams at all levels.
Manufacturing or distribution environment experience with hourly teams in a multi-shift operation – strongly preferred.
Experience working in a union environment – strongly preferred.
Experience partnering with managers and/or business leaders to inform quality people decisions.
Experience and interest in working within an HR Ecosystem to bring the right partners together to solve business problems.
Strong consultative mindset willing to learn and adapt to changing business needs.

The pay range for this position is $64,300 to $110,200. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
