Summary: This is a “forward-facing” position that interacts heavily with supervisors, employees and applicants by performing routine administrative guidance and support regarding human resource processes for all locations. This role provides administrative support to People Operations as needed, including talent selection processes, recordkeeping, leaves of absence and HRIS data entry. Assists in providing basic information on employee health and welfare plans.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· With the Directors of People Operations guidance, timely and accurately records or enters information on performance management, terminations, leave of absences and corrective action issues. Facilitates administration of people operation programs, policies, and procedures by communicating as appropriate with managers and employees. Builds productive relationships, both internally and externally, and at all levels in the organization.
· Supports with recruitment and interview process. Tracks status of candidates and responds with follow-up communications as warranted. Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation, submits, and manages the E-Verify process, and maintains I-9 files. Prepares new-employee personnel files. Maintains thorough employment records in personnel files via the Paycom HRIS system. Completes and tracks leave forms, FMLA, CO-FAMLI, ADA, LOA. Completes and tracks Job Postings for all Colorado Premium Facilities.
· Supports employee relation functions by answering employee requests and questions. Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions. Files documents into appropriate digital employee files. Assists with processing of terminations.
· Exercises judgment and analysis within low scope. Escalates sensitive issues that may require immediate attention and resolution; makes recommendations relative to issue resolution. Notifies the Director of People Operations promptly and fully of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
· Coordinates Team Member events and programs including birthdays, anniversaries, team member of the month awards and other employee recognition programs.
Education/Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college experience or associate degree/certificate preferred.
· At least 2 years of related prior work experience in human resources and familiar with production departmental operations, organization policies, applicable laws, procedures, and processes, preferably in food processing.
· Working PC knowledge and proficient in MS Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
· Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities. Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills. Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

This position also participates in vacation and sick leave pay programs. The pay range for this position is $20.00 to $22.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. This position is bonus eligible, however, anyone who commences employment after the beginning of the bonus plan period is eligible for a prorated portion of any bonus deemed earned and payable if he or she is hired and active prior to 180 days before the bonus plan period ends.
