Side is looking for a dedicated and self-motivated People Operations Generalist to join our dynamic People Team. Our ideal candidate is passionate about innovation and takes initiative to ensure the organization and success of our internal operations. This role will interact with all levels of the organization, and collaborate with the People & Places team to ensure we provide a great experience for everyone at Side.
Our People Operations Generalist will report directly to our Manager, People Operations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage the day to day administration of benefits, leaves of absence and other People programs.
- Assist in the development and execution of People procedures and policies for improving employee experience as well as the efficiency of the People department.
- Participate in the development of People systems and analytics; owning metrics, queries, and ongoing reports and audits for company requirements.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended standard methodologies; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Serve as a pivotal point of contact for employees, researching and resolving payroll issues, benefit inquiries, employment verifications and providing general employee customer support.
- Support People team by standardizing operational tasks in Workday HCM; own preparation and execution of Offboarding documents.
What would make you a strong fit:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in People Operations functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or related field preferred.
- Start-up or mid-size company experience preferred.
- Strong consultative approach.
- Superior interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Experience using Workday HCM required.
- PHR or SHRM-CP desired.
$70,000 - $80,000 a year
$70,000-80,000 for All Remote
$75,000-85,000 for High Cost of Living Locations
Side takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. This range is not inclusive of our equity package. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider a number of factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
